As we enter the final quarter of our Centenary year, it is a time to look back over a number of key events in the last month - and to look forward to 2013. It really has been a memorable summer in London, which we were pleased to be able to share with so many valued partners and friends who were able to join us.

Our Centenary Party
Celebrations to mark our hundredth birthday culminated in our Centenary party, which was held in the historic and beautiful Kensington Palace Orangery. We were joined by over 200 friends, partners and colleagues from around the world and celebrated with canaps, a jazz quartet, a magician, caricaturist and English champagne.

StudyWorld & ALPHE Sponsorship
The London School of English was pleased to be the main sponsor at this years StudyWorld workshop, which was held at the Hilton Metropole here in London at the start of September. The event gave us the opportunity to hold face-to-face meetings with almost one hundred new and existing agent partners. We were also one of the sponsors of the ALPHE London workshop and held well-attended open houses at Holland Park Gardens to coincide with each event.

StudyWorld Prize Draw Winner
As part of our sponsorship of StudyWorld, we offered participating agents the chance to enter a draw to win a one week scholarship to The London School of English. The winner was Ms Anna Korableva, of Study Cube, who wasted no time in coming to join us for an International Business Communication course.

Centenary Photo Competition Winner
We are pleased to announce that the winner of our Centenary Photo Competition is Balazs Simon, whose representation of 100 impressed the panel of 12 judges with its creativity. Balazs is the proud recipient of an iPad and our warm congratulations. Click here to see the winning entries. Judging of our Centenary Film Competition is now underway and a winner will be announced shortly.

Grand Opening of The London School of English Jeddah
The London School of English Jeddah was formally opened at the end of September. At an evening reception hosted by Sheikh Mohyedin Saleh Kamel, London School of English Group CEO Timothy Blake was invited to cut the ribbon of the new centre, which will provide English language training to individuals and corporate clients.
